Ok,so I'm no luthier...
But I didn't find this stuff to be all that helpful.So if you are an part-time ameteur trying to make the pegs on that cheap violin you bought out curiosity (yep, I bought it too)stop slipping, this won't help you much.I may try drying it out a bit like the first entry said, but I'm not taking my $50 violin to a luthier :).

Intellitouch Center Pitch 2 Review

I was very pleased with this tuner the first few weeks I had it.I loved the fact I could tune my cello by 'vibration' rather than sound, so it could be used even while other instruments were playing. But then it quit working - wouldn't even turn on.I thought the batteries were dead (although the time I had it was not long at all).So I replaced the batteries.It worked the first time I used it, but would never turn back on again after that.The batteries had to be in right, as it worked initially, so that wasn't the problem.So I cannot give a good review on the quality of this tuner at all.

Shadow SH SB1 Single Disc Transducer for Upright Bass Review

My only complaint is that the quarter inch plug is a bit challenging.At first I couldn't get my instrument cable to plug into it.After some testing and swapping I found that only two of my cables will actually click in, the others simply don't work.I assume this is an anomally with the component but it's still a pain.

The sound it pretty good when plugged into a bass amp but there tends to be a little noise when handling/touching the instrument.Backing off on the treble through the mixer eliminates that without too much fuss.

I deliberately chose the "low-end" option for amplifying my bass.I figured anything would be better than trying to use a mic on a stand and then being stuck in one place.I was right.This is much better and now I can be heard.

"Wristies" Hand Warming Practice Gloves - Original Long Length for Small Hands: Beige Review

I rarely take time to write a review.Writies are wonderful.I work as an office manager at a wedding chapel. Our office is cold in the winter (I am on the ground floor) and cold in the Summer (AC has to be cranked up to keep the upstairs cool.
I was wearing gloves to alleviate occasional bouts with arthritis, & to keep my hands warm enough to type. I was constantly removing(& misplacing)them to pin on boutonnieres, assist brides with dressing, etc.
I can wear the Wristies all day, and only have to slide them up when I wash my hands.They do a wonderful job of keeping my hands warm, flexible, and acessible for the "hands on" part of my job.

The Original RDM Student Mini Dark Rosin in Woodframe Review

It's okay... nothing fancy.Adequate, does a good job, except not so well in really cold weather because of the lack of humidity in the air (my current problem).So, I'm getting a stickier rosin.It is definitely worth its price, although it may not be worth the cost of shipping.

Fishman V-100 Classic Series Violin Pickup Review

I agree that attaching this type of pickup is awkward at best, but the quality of the sound is excellent for a pickup at this price (you really need a high quality microphone for true sound reproduction, which has its own issues).This price is very reasonable, but if you want to spend a little more Fishman also makes a model with a clamp-on 1/4" jack that I imagine is much easier to use.
