Artino Cello Practice Mute Review

my cello teacher higher recommends this mute. He said its one of the best he has come across.For me it mutes the strings evenly, clamps on the bridge securely.It just turns the volume down by half which is good because I live in an apartment.However, if I want to practice in the middle of the night, I think my neighbours can still hear me.

Though short, I found it to be useful, especially for someone like myself who has never played a string instrument. I think that anyone but the most advanced players can glean a great deal of information from this book.

The Original Dampit Cello Humidifier Review

Great way to keep my cello at a good humidity level during the dry winter months. I have had no problems with it, I just make sure I squeeze out all excess water and dry the outside very well with a paper towel. I make sure that I store the instrument in a fashion that prevents the humidifier from touching the wood on the inside to prevent any wicking of the water onto the wood. It has worked very well for me, but just don't tell my luthier.......he highly disapproves of this product......humidify the room not the instrument is his motto.
